Introduction to the Baldrige Criteria The Alliance for Performance Excellence – The Alliance for Performance Excellence is a nonprofit network of state, and local Baldrige organizations. Members of The Alliance contribute over $30 million annually to economic competitiveness by assisting organizations in all industries on their journey to excellence. Whether your organization is a Fortune 500 company, a small business, a school district, a healthcare facility, or a government agency, you can improve your performance and results through the principles and Criteria for Performance Excellence. Working in their individual states, these organizations help companies achieve performance excellence and serve as a starting point for organizations seeking the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. These organizations produce workshops, training and conferences where you can learn, share, and connect with other organizations seeking performance excellence. These programs also administer award and assessment programs using trained examiner teams and judges. http://www.baldrigepe.org/alliance/
